David Thomas Bowling

David Thomas (Thom) Bowling departed this earth on December 26, leaving behind a large and loving family, and a song that will never stop playing in our hearts. Thom was born in St. Albans, West Virginia. on January 4, 1949 to Jenny and Raymond Bowling. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister and brother-in-law (Phyllis and Jerry Church), brothers (Paul Bowling and Jim Bowling), and daughter Stacey Bowling. He is survived by his wife Debbie, sister Barbara Graley and brother Don Bowling, sons Paul, Ian and David Eric and daughters Stephanie Copley and Casey Bowling.

Thom was a man who lived a full life and was deeply loved by a large family. There is something incredibly poignant and fitting about him passing peacefully at home to the music of Tom Petty—it paints a picture of a man who stayed true to his spirit until the end.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
