David John Hauser

David John Hauser, 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 6, 2023.  He was born on December 8, 1949 to Frank and Mary Moreadith Hauser in Goldsboro, North Carolina.  David graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1968, then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduating in 1972 with a B.S. of Science in Pharmacy.  He worked for many years as a pharmacist for Revco Drugs and later CVS.  David never met a stranger.  He loved to research family history, find a bargain, collect coins, and enjoy good food with friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bette Wall Hauser; his daughter, Susan Hauser Parker (Ryan) of Woodstock, GA; and his beloved grandchildren, Davis, Bennett, and Lily.  He is also survived by his brother, Frank Hauser IV (Harriet) of Delmar, NY; his nephews Jeff Hauser (Dori) of Highland Ranch, CO, Bryan Hauser (Cindy) of Davidson, NC; his cousins John Hauser of Winston-Salem, NC, and Christel Hauser Sams (James) of Goldsboro, NC.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastors Will Toburen and Truett Williams officiating.  The family will have a visitation from 1:00 PM till 1:45 PM  prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church missions or general fund.
