Debra Kress Street, 66, of Winston-Salem went to be with the lord on January 11, 2024. She was born on October 2, 1957. Debra was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church for 6 years. She loved her church and everyone who attended deeply. Debra was retired. For 25 years she was a Deli bakery manager for Harris Teeter. She was very talented and loved by everyone at Harris Teeter. Debra was preceded in death by her middle child Rusty Street. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thurman "Corky" Street; Debra's oldest son Jamie (Amber) Street of Lewisville; Her daughter Stephanie Hartzog of Tobaccoville; Debra has 3 granddaughters. Kaylen (Nick) Hawkins of Pfafftown. Breanna (Chase) Harper of Lewisville, and Emma Hartzog of Tobaccoville; Debra also has 3 great grandchildren. Debra is also survived by her two favorites, her fur babies Simon and Sissy. Debra never met an animal she didn't love and they all loved her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday January 27, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church at with Dr. Charles Carver, and Dr. Glinard Lawson officiating. The family will greet friends at the church 2 hours prior to the service from 12:00 Noon till 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Forsyth Human Society.
