Gregory Clinton Hamilton

Gregory Clinton Hamilton, 59, of Winston-Salem passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of May 4, 2026. Born and educated in Jefferson, NC, he dedicated 20 years to the US Navy while stationed in Hawaii before retiring in North Carolina with his family. He was an engineer and held respectable positions unable to speak of. He earned many achievements while traveling the world to defend our country.

Outside of his commitment to the US Navy, he was a handy man that loved to stay busy outside. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, gardening, wood working, detailing cars, keeping meticulous record of various things, and building unique RC cars. He had a love for old school R&B, movies, and cracking jokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eleria Hamilton. He is survived by his wife Christine; his children Christopher, Rachelle, Erika; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday May 16, 2026 at Twin City Cremations and Funeral Services with Van Nelson officiating.
