James Oliver Phipps, Jr

James Oliver Phipps Jr., 59, of Yadkinville was called home to be with the Lord on Friday July 29, 2022. He had been battling cancer for 6-months. Jr. was a great man who loved his family deeply and had an unquestionable work ethic. Jr. was preceded in death by his father James Oliver Phipps, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Hope Phipps; his two sons Dustin and Dakota Phipps; his mother Mary Phipps; three sisters Debbie Heck, Denise Fouche, and April Anderson; and two grandchildren Davin and Savannah Phipps. He will be greatly missed but will live on thru the impact he made in the lives of his family and friends. As a family we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Tommy Stanley, of Stanley Heating & Air in Dobson, NC. He and everyone at Stanley went above and beyond to do anything they could to help from the onset of his battle with cancer all the way thru to the time of his passing. We would also like to thank the staff at The Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson for the care he received during his time there. His memorial service will be held this coming Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 11:00 am in the fellowship hall at Union Grove Baptist Church, 2401 Nebo Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
