Janice Jones Entinghe, 74, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday November 5, 2024. She was born in Forsyth County on July 24, 1950 to Billy Charles Jones and Phyllis Smith Jones. She graduated from North Forsyth High School. Janice attended Appalachian State University before starting her career. Janice worked at numerous well-known hotels as a "Party Planner" and was great at what she did. She was even employed at Bermuda Run Country Club for a while in Advance. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church ; And, last, her hobby was reading. Her lifelong best friend is Kathy Richardson. Kathy was her maid of honor at her wedding to John. They were like sisters. Also, Janice had a close neighbor to her heart, Susan and Steve Batten of Winston-Salem, and last, but definitely not least, was a favorite brother-in-law from Indiana, Tom and Tina Entinghe. Who recently drove here to see her in the hospital and say his last good-byes. Her wonderful, caring social worker Ms. Donna Duckett who seemed to love Janice like her own family member. We truly appreciate her and want to thank her. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband John Patrick Entinghe. She is survived by her two stepdaughters Carol Ann Entinghe and Allison Entinghe of lima Ohio; first cousin Jill Jones Canter; and numerous second Cousins; one of her favorites is Terry Gentle and his wife Gail of Winston-Salem.
