Lorraine Ann Rucker Stroud

Lorraine Ann Stroud, 71, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Friday May 28, 2021, after a brief battle with lung cancer. Lorraine was born on November 2, 1949 in Wilson, NC to the late Charles and Nona Rucker. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; sister Carolyn Batts; and nephew Mark Batts. She is survived by her loving husband Larry Stroud; and son Jonathan Goard, both of the home; step-daughter Raegen Autry (Bryan) of Kernersville, NC;  sister Molly Viverette (Carlton) of Wilson, NC; sister-in-law Cheryl Howell (Larry) of Walkertown, NC; nephews Chris Viverette (Jo) of Greenville, NC, David Viverette (Elena) of Pearland, TX, Matt Batts of Elm City, NC, Justin Howell of Charlotte, NC; and nieces Mindy Fulton (Taylor) of Walkertown, NC and Jennifer Lowe (Kevin) of Kernersville, NC. A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday June 1, 2021 at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Rev Craig Furlough officiating.
