Michael "Mike" Shane Queen

Michael Queen, 52, of Winston-Salem, passed away at home on Thursday July 17th, 2025. He was born to Harold Queen and Enna (Shew) Queen on November 15th, 1972 in Taylorsville, NC. He was the youngest of 6 boys. He loved music and working as a Youth Director. He was well loved by many and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Queen, brothers Dwight Queen, H.L. Petrea, and Keith Petrea, and his son Dustin Shearon. He is survived by his mother Enna Queen, wife Shannon Queen, daughter Brandy Saltzman (William), son Alex Queen (Sarah), brothers Jesse Petrea, Duran Queen, and Darrel Queen. He is also survived by an aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends that were like family.

The family will be holding a service on Aug 9th, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Church, 4265 Ebert Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127. The service will start at 4 pm, with the family receiving visitors at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Bread for the World in memory of Michael Queen.
