Rachel Avalee (Cockman) Trull

Rachel Cockman Trull went to be with her Lord at 5:45 AM on August 13. Rachel surrendered herself to God’s grace at home, surrounded by her family. Rachel was born to Walter Lee and Francis Eugenia Cockman in Guilford Co, NC on Oct. 18, 1930. Rachel married Leroy Trull on Nov.24, 1948. Rachel worked as an underwriter for Shelby Mutual Insurance Co. for thirty-seven years before retiring. She served as treasurer and President of the Insurance Women of America for Guilford County, NC Rachel was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years; Worth Leroy Trull, her father and mother, Walter Lee Cockman and Francis Eugenia Lowdermilk Cockman, also her brothers David Reece Cockman and Paul Deweered Cockman. Rachel is survived by her daughter, Sandra Trull Powers (Phillip), of Midway, NC, two grandchildren, Krystal Powers Walser (Joshua), and Daniel Jebediah Powers of Lexington, NC and four great grandchildren, Jacob Gregory Powers, Dominick Robert Walser, Alexia Pearl Walser, and Ryleigh Grace Powers, She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Cockman Callicutt of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
