Ronald "Ron" Franklin Cohn

Ronald "Ron" Franklin Cohn, 74, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away on October 15, 2026. Raised in Pfafftown, North Carolina, Ron carried with him the memories and roots of the community where he grew up.

Ron was a quiet and private man who lived life in his own way. A devout Christian, his faith was an important part of his life and a source of strength throughout the years.

He had a special love for motorcycles and enjoyed the sense of freedom that came with being out on the open road. Those who knew Ron will remember his independent spirit, his quiet nature, and the life he lived on his own terms.

Ron was preceded in death by his older brother, James Lee Cohn. He is survived by his son, Chris Cohn (Natalia); granddaughter, Freja Cohn; brother, Dan Cohn (Olga); sister-in-law, Linda Cohn, wife of the late James Lee Cohn; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A small, private memorial service for family and close friends will be held in his honor.
