Sandra Jean (Trull) Powers

March 1, 1950 — October 15, 2025

Winston-Salem

My beloved wife, Sandy Trull Powers, went to be with the Lord at 4:50 PM on Wednesday, October 15. She suffered with Pulmonary Fibrosis for three and a half years. After a final trip to Myrtle Beach, a place she loved, she succumbed to her illness. Since we became engaged there in September, 1979, it was a fitting final trip to an amazing start. Sandy met her Savior, surrounded by her family and immersed in love.

Sandy worked for Manpower of Guilford County, as the vice president of sales. She had been retired since 2005. She loved her crafts. She enjoyed working in ceramic and making greeting cards. She loved and enjoyed having her family around. Sandy will be greatly missed by her family and those who loved her.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Worth Leroy Trull; her mother, Rachel Cockman Trull; and her brother-in-law, Gregory Lee Powers. Sandy is survived by her husband, Phillip of the home; Krystal Powers Walser (Joshua) of Lexington; Daniel Jebediah Powers of Lexington; Sandra is also survived by grandchildren, Jacob Gregory Powers of the home, Dominick Robert Walser, Alexia Pearl Walser, and Ryleigh Grace Powers. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Denise Osborne Marler (Byron), Judy Osborne Smith (Tommy), Aunt Ruth Cockman Callicut, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be given for Sandra and her mother, Rachel as soon as plans are in place. The day and location will be passed on when the plans are complete.
