Vivian Nadine (Parsons) Anderson

Nadine Parsons Anderson, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, February 6,2026, at home. She was born October 25, 1932, in Wilkes County to the late Auburn Parsons and Bertha Spears Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years Russell Anderson; children Bronda Anderson, Glenda Gardner and R.J. Anderson; brothers Freeland “Hal” and Howard Carlos Parsons; and sisters Virgina Parsons, Lillian Parsons and Carrie Parsons Kelly.

Surviving are her brothers Caster Parsons of Huntersville and Jack Parsons of Millers Creek; sister Christine Shepherd of Wilkesboro; daughter-in-law Robin Anderson of King; son-in-law Nathan Gardner of Santee, SC; grandchildren Jason Gardner of Winston-Salem, Adam Gardner of Austin, TX, and Erin Anderson of Greensboro; great-granddaughters Arizona Gardner and Hannah Gardner; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Fishing Creek Baptist Church, 1191 Old Hwy 60, in North Wilkesboro, NC. The family will receive friends prior in the church sanctuary beginning at 11:00 a.m.
