Charles Hayes Lawson, Jr

Charles "Chuck" Hayes Lawson, Jr passed away on October 19th, 2023. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC, to the late Charles Hayes Lawson and the late Claries Gay Waddell Wiggins.

Chuck loved making people laugh and spending time with his family. He also loved animals, especially his two daughters' cats, which he called his "grandkitties". While he resided in NC, after living in SC for the majority of his life, Chuck was definitely a South Carolinian at heart. In his early years he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was also a Civil War and Revolutionary War reenactor. His later years were spent leather crafting and enjoying time with family and friends.

Chuck is survived by his two daughters, Charlotte and Cheyenne Lawson of SC; two sisters, Christal and Amanda Lawson of TN; two nieces Charleigh and Harlow, along with one nephew Malik; step father Ken Wiggins; step mother Tina Lawson; as well as several dearly beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins spread throughout many states.
