Denise Anderson Obituary

Denise Clodfelter Anderson, 69, of Lexington, a loving mother passed away Monday January 11, 2021.  Denise was born on November 1, 1951 in Winston-Salem, NC to Aubrey “Piddle” Clodfelter and Phyllis Brewer.  She was the older sister of Amy Douglass.  She worked for Piedmont Airlines and then US Airways before her retirement.  On October 19, 1987 she gave birth to her only child, Zachary Anderson.  Denise had a passion for all animals but especially her beloved cats.  She had a shining personality and saw the fun in almost every experience.  She was an avid music lover and instilled that great love of music into her son.  She was known for her bright smile and kindness.  She is survived by her only son Zachary Anderson; and her sister Amy Douglass.  A visitation service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Twin City Cremations and Funeral Services in Winston-Salem, between 3 and 5pm.  Due to Covid restrictions there will only be 20 people allowed inside at one time.  We thank you in advance for following these restrictions. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Davidson County Animal Shelter.
