Eula Mae Powell

Eula Mae Powell age 59 of Winston Salem, NC passed away peacefully in her home Monday  May 16, 2022 surrounded by her family. Eula Mae Powell was born on December 16, 1962 in Berkeley County, South Carolina to the late Rebecca Murray Powell and Stephen Powell Jr. She was employed many years at Glaxo Wellcome and Smithkline Pharmaceutical also the NYC Board of Education. Eula is survived By her one and only loving and dedicated son Cory Spence of Winston Salem, and her 2 lovable granddaughters, Chanel Spence and Zoe Spence, who were the light of Eula’s eyes. She was known as a loving mother, grandmother, sister to all who knew her with a beautiful smile. She is also survived by 1 brother. Jasper Murray(Helen),and 3 devoted sisters; Katie Marina of Manhattan, NY, Sandra Gayden-Brown, of Saint Stephen, SC and Vanessa Gleason of Summerville SC. She is also survived by 3 aunts Annie(Nancy) Murray, Fellistine Meadows, Sara(Hattie) Swinton and very special friends Bryan and Marva Hamilton and a host of other family and friends. Eula was loved by everyone who knew her she was always kind, truthful and loved by family and friends. Eula dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in 1984 along with her sister Katie. She will truly be missed by all her Spiritual family in the West Congregation, in Clemmons NC. Eula was known for her cheerful greeting to her friends on our Congregation Zoom Meetings and Field Service With a smile saying, “Good Morning My Family.”
