Mrs. Irene Jane Vandevelde Arnoldi, 76, of Kernersville, NC passed away on Friday October 1, 2021 at the Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston, Salem, NC. Irene was born in Passaic County, NJ on November 12, 1944 to the late Julius and Irene Van De Velde. Her friends all knew she was an avid baker and held a deep Catholic faith. She attended mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kernersville, NC. Irene was preceded in death her husband William Peter Arnoldi, and by a son James Read. Irene is survived by her daughter Audrey Yates and her husband Scott Yates of Rural Hall, NC; her son John Read, his wife Debbie Read; and her grandson Zack Read of Smyrna, DE. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in New Jersey. The Family is grateful to the hospice team, the Palliative care team, and all the wonderful care Irene received over the past few weeks.
