Josey Lane Lunsford

Josey Lane Lunsford, 34, A beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, and friend, left this world unexpectedly on November 22, 2020. She was born September 29, 1986 in Winston-Salem, NC to Sherry Bryant and Joseph Cambron. Josey. Lane was funny, outgoing and vivacious. She was a lover of all music and always had something playing in the background. She also loved being outside at any time of the day, especially by the water. Many nights were spent with friends and family laughing and telling stories. Lane absolutely loved and adored her two boys. There was always an adventure to be had be it time on the lake or riding dirt bikes. She wanted nothing more for them than to have a wonderful life. We will always remember Lane for her infectious smile, piercing eyes, and amazing personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed. Lane was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandfather Freddie (Papaw) Cambron; uncle Keith Cambron; maternal grandfather Charles (Pawpaw) Bryant; aunt Donna Bryant; Cousins Abi and Nicolas Bryant;  and an incredibly special friend Alex. Lane is survived by her husband Chad Harris; her mother; two amazing sons, Bryson and Ian; her maternal grandmother Dane (Memaw) Bryant; uncle David Bryant; paternal grandmother Dean (Pappus) Cambron; uncle Kenny Cambron; aunt Carrie (Robert) Varrid; numerous cousins; and an abundance of friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the GoFundMe organized by David Sandlin to help with final expenses and immediate needs of her boys. A graveside service for close friends and immediate family will be 2:00 pm Monday June 7, 2021 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Jerry Morrison officiating. When you think of Lane, celebrate the good memories you have with her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Rest easy sweet angel, you are so very loved.
