Miranda Hope Finch

Miranda Hope Finch, 28, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away January 21, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Miranda was born February 14, 1991 in San Diego, CA to Paul Earl Finch and Lori Denise Smith. Miranda was a loving fiancee, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt.  Miranda was full of life, laughter, and love, known as her mother's "beautiful shining star" and "tiny dancer."  Miranda loved her family and friends with all of her heart. Miranda was the kindest, most generous, giving person. Free spirited, feisty, loyal and forgiving. Miranda was an honor roll student and Duke Scholar, and attended R.J. Reynolds High School and Ronald W. Reagan High School.  Miranda was athletic and was a tenacious soccer player. Miranda loved to dance, was artistic, a gifted writer and poet.  Miranda loved the outdoors, photography, and making bouquets. Her favorite place was the beach, loved summertime and swimming. Miranda attended church regularly, loved the Lord, believed in Jesus, and always kept her faith. Miranda was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Carolyn E. Smith; paternal grandmother Edith G. Finch; and her uncle Daniel "Craig" Smith. She is Survived by her fiance Andrew Mitchell Narris; her sons Zaiden C. Miles and Phoenix I. Miles; mother Lori Denise Smith; Stepfather Joshua D. Rowell; father Paul Earl Finch of Dyersburg, TN; grandfather Coy M. Smith; grandmother "Ma-Ma" Rita Godbey (Garry); sister Melissa R. Hughes; brother Jeffrey P. Miles and wife Elizabeth A. Miles; sister Caroline B. Rowell; niece Anessa K. Hughes; nephew Kingston C. Hughes; uncles Steven G. Brooks (Jackie), Darryl W. Smith; special friend Nino Cruz;  also Aunts and cousins that she loved dearly. She will always be remembered, loved, and missed. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Church of Christ, 7120 NC Highway, 66 S.King, NC 27021.
