Nancy Sue (Owen) White

Nancy Sue Owen White, 85, of Yadkinville passed away Friday Aril 14, 2023 at Yadkinville Nursing Center, Yadkinville, NC. Thanks to their Staff and special thanks to Liberty Hospice. Nancy was born May 15, 1937.

She graduated from Woman's College (now UNC-G) in1964.  Nancy retired after teaching in the public schools system for 37 years. She taught both in Forsyth County, North Carolina and in Richmond, Virginia.

As long as her health permitted she was an active member of Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Lewisville NC. of which she was a founding member. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.M. "Mack" Owen and Ruth Hobson Owen and by her husband Eugene White.  Nancy is survived by several cousins on both her parents' sides.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2023 at Shallowford Presbyterian Church.

Inurnment will be at Richmond Hill Baptist Church, Boonville, NC at a later date in a private ceremony.
