Nicole Erin Sheppard

Nicole Erin Sheppard, 41, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away suddenly after an extended illness on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was born October 9, 1981 in Arlington, Virginia.

She liked to write and loved listening to hip hop! She loved God, her family and especially her children!

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Charles Maricle and her Memaw, Harlene Gudgeon. She is survived by her son Devin Shipley of Winston Salem, NC; daughter Nina (Chayse Daehler) Jennings of Winston Salem, NC; sister Rachel (Jordan) Stewart and nephew Mason, of Sunrize, AZ; mother Patty (Les) Hardwick of Prattville, AL; father Kenny Sheppard of West Columbia, SC, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family is grateful to the various nursing centers who took care of her during the past five years in Winston-Salem, NC, but especially for all of the love and care she received in the last year from the very patient staff at Ridge Valley Nursing Center in Wilkesboro, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at The Lighthouse of Lewisville Church, 6275 Jennings Road, Lewisville, NC with Pastor David Frankenfield officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org).
