Robin Ann Page (Brafford) Johnson

Robin Brafford Johnson, age 70, of Lumberton, NC, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024, in Winston-Salem, NC after a short but brave battle with cancer. Robin was born on May 11, 1953, in Statesville, NC where she grew up. After high school, she attended Mars Hill College before moving to Rowland and then Lumberton, NC, where she raised her family and taught for over 40 years. 

Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Betty Brafford. Robin is survived by her daughters Rebecca (Patrick) and Victoria and her sister Vicki (Bill).

Robin loved her family and friends dearly. She made an impact on so many lives as a mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. She was accepting of and saw the best in everyone she knew. She will be remembered for her sweet, gentle spirit, her bright smile, and her kind heart.

The memorial service to honor and celebrate Robin's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, at First Baptist Church in Rowland, NC, where she was an active member of the church family for over 40 years. A visitation with family and friends will take place immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Prevent Cancer Foundation in honor of her battle with cancer or to Franny's Friends in Lumberton, NC as a tribute to her lifelong love of animals.
