Rosemary Jacobson Obituary

Rosemary Stafford Jacobson, (63), Of Winston Salem passed away Friday August 26, 2022. Rosemary was born in High Point June 24, 1959 to Ray and Mary Stafford. Rosemary was always fondly known as Rosie to family and friends alike. She was a 1977 Graduate of Kerwin Baptist Christian School. After High School, Rosie went on to receive her nursing degree and was a nurse for 6 years.  Rosie worked 31 years for Wachovia, now Wells Fargo Bank. She started in the mail room and worked her way up to an Assistant Vice President of IT Asset Management.  Rosie never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends. She was Aunt Rosie to her nieces and nephew, and to all children who knew her. Her favorite thing was to garden. Her love of “playing in the dirt” lead her to become a Master Gardener. Her husband Jo, (JJ), always called her his walking phone book. She always remembered everyone’s phone number and address. Rosie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rosie was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, JJ Jacobson; daughter Hannah Jacobson; two sons Rusty Jacobson (17) and Jacob Jacobson (16); her mother Mary Stafford; two brothers, Dennis Stafford (Wanda), and Douglas Stafford (Barbara); niece Lauren McDaniel (Levi); and nephew Jonathan Stafford (Emilie). A celebration of life service will be held 6:00 pm, Saturday September 17, 2022, at Clemmons United Methodist Church with Reverend Jonathan Stafford officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trellis Supportive Care of Winston Salem.
