Sharon Long McMahon

Sharon Adele Long McMahon, 65, of Germanton passed away Thursday September 2, 2021. She was born on July 3, 1956 in Monroe, NC to Vann Long and Elizabeth Inez Sexton Beck. She took great pleasure in her artwork and photography to even doing hair for folks. She always had a giving kind heart and loved being on the move. We all know how she loved hummingbirds, so all who wish to honor her life are invited to hang a hummingbird feeder at their home and be sure to share it on her Facebook page as a memorial. She was  preceded in death by her parents; and her niece Kecia Brooks. She is survived by her twin daughters, Alisia ( Joey) Fuller and Ashlie ( Bruce) Mabe; Her grandchildren  Marybeth Shrewsbury, Tyler Shrewsbury, Sydni Fuller, Sadie Fuller, Dylan Mabe and step- grandchildren Lee( Megan) Mabe and Destiny (James) Mabe; A great grandchild Jensen James Tulbert. Her sister , Vanna (Gary) Brooks and a niece Kelly Brooks; her great nieces and a great nephew; and several close friends that were very much family to her. Sharon wished to spend eternity among the seas, so her ashes will be spread at Sunset Beach, NC at a later date. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to a cause of your choice.
