Susan Bingman Obituary

Susan Clara (Elliott) Bingman of Pinnacle, NC, passed away unexpectedly on September 29th, 2020 at the age of 64, after a minor surgery and brief hospitalization. Susan was born on Leap Day, February 29, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the fourth of the eight children born to Nellie Elaine (Holloway) and John Jacob Elliott, who both preceded her in death. In her younger days, Susan was very proficient as a tap dancer and was exceptionally talented. She graduated from Cameron High School (MO) in 1974 and joined the United States Navy shortly after. While stationed at Roosevelt Roads Naval Station in Puerto Rico she met and married the father of her 5 children Ronald Franklin Kale (deceased). After the Navy and children Susan worked for many years as an IT Administrator but her passion was raising and rescuing animals, especially horses. Susan considered her family to be one of her greatest accomplishment. . She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robin Dale Elliott. She is survived by her loving husband of 13 year, Kirby Bingman; 5 children and 8 grandchildren: daughter Dawn Kale (Arturo and grandson Lando) of Mexico, daughter Karamy Kale (Daniel and granddaughters Natalie and Hazel) of Winston-Salem, NC, son Kip Kale (granddaughter Lily and grandson Kaicen) of Winston-Salem, NC, daughter Casey (Kale) Cain (Hunt, grandson Hunt and granddaughter Alice) of Charleston, SC, and son Zach Kale (Denise and grandson Gabriel) of Fort Mill, SC; surviving siblings are John Myron Elliott, Thomas Lee Elliott, Patricia Lou Elliott, Mary Kay (Elliott) Pendergrass, Kathy Lynn (Elliott) Crews and Joseph Ray Elliott. Susan will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, friends and her menagerie of dogs, chickens, and horses. There will be a private memorial service for family only on October 17th. In lieu of flowers, consider contributing to Oakley Ranch 1247 Old Winston Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043.
